2.5 cm diameter stone in intricate silver-coloured setting.

All of my jewelry is made using paint “skins”. When I make an Acrylic Pour painting, paint drips off my canvas onto my silicone mat. I then spread it and allow it to dry. When it is ready, I place cabochons (domed pieces of glass) on the skins till I find a section I like. I then glue the cabochon to the skin and after it dries, carefully cut it out. I then glue the cabochon into the bezel. The cabochon magnifies the skin and gives it a shine, creating a jewel-like effect. Each piece is one-of-a-kind.

The bezels are made of brass and/or zinc which has been coated with a metallic lacquer to give them their color; most typically in gold, silver, copper or black.
