Michael Diederich was born in California on December 23rd, 1969. A natural born performing artist, Michael spent the first 35 years of his life on stage before turning to writing, directing and translating. He studied musical theater and worked professionally until 1993 when he moved to The Netherlands. Although he has dabbled in everything from macramé and mosaics to stained glass and woodworking, Michael didn't call himself an artist until he started working with Acrylics during the 2020 pandemic. He has since held a successful exhibition, sold dozens of works, and painted over 200 canvases.
He continues to live happily in Holland with his dog, Harris and his cat, Cleo.
